II requires landlords of apartment houses (more than 2 units) to file a landlord's dwelling unit occupancy certification with the Division of Housing Inspection within 30 days of a new tenancy. A separate apartment certificate of occupancy is also required before leasing to a new tenant.

Notes

No lead-safe ordinance in the town's eCode360 code (a search for 'lead' returned only unrelated hits). The Building, Code Enforcement and Health pages on the town site say nothing about the lead program. The Building Department (Town Hall, 428-60th St) covers Building, Zoning, Code Enforcement and Housing. Its phone is a general number, not lead-specific.
