Program is City Code Ch. 105 (Ord. 03-2025, adopted 2/11/2025). City partners with LEW Environmental Services as its designated vendor. City may bar owner-hired contractors after prior noncompliance or a conflict of interest. Code §105-5(A) says 'dust wipe samplings are required for all lead-based paint inspections' for owner-hired contractors, which conflicts with the state 'Visual Inspection' label (possibly a drafting issue or a stricter local rule).
Statewide 3-year certification rule applies here too
