Ordinance (Code Ch.273 Art.IV §§273-45 to -47; Ord. 7750-22 as amended by Ord. 8069-26 eff. 1-20-2026) requires BOTH visual assessment AND dust wipe sampling for every inspection, which is stricter than the state 'Visual Inspection' label. Certificate validity amended from 2 to 3 years eff. 1-20-2026. Landlord may use the City's lead inspector or their own DCA-certified inspector within 30 days of City notice.
